Crane cables

Crane cables are designed to ensure reliable power supply and signal transmission in lifting equipment such as elevators, cranes and hoists, including large-scale handling systems operating in ports and cargo terminals. The range includes both flat and round cable designs, which — thanks to their construction — provide high flexibility, mechanical resistance and extended durability in demanding operating conditions typical for industrial, logistics and port environments.
Application
- Vertical transport: passenger and freight elevators, lifting platforms
- Heavy industry: cranes, hoists, lifting equipment
- Ports and Cargo Terminals: container cranes, ship-to-shore and gantry cranes, lifting and handling systems for bulk and unit cargo, automated stacking and transport equipment
- Warehousing and logistics: internal transport systems, automated warehouses
- Construction: lifting equipment on construction sites
- Urban infrastructure: public transport systems such as cable cars and municipal elevators
Example products
- BiTcrane®SHORE POWER (N)TSCGEW11Y 6/10 kV cables dedicated for connection of the vessel to the main grid when berthed at the harbour quay; they are suitable for High Voltage Shore Connection (HVSC) systems for all ship types at berth

- BiTcrane®(N)TSCGEWOEU-SR PLUS FO flexible reeling cables for power supply with cable guidance in different levels, e.g. reel axis in travel direction; especially for high and extreme mechanical stress
